Describe Magic Bavaria in one sentence
A fantastic adventure museum with 30 interactive photo spots, magical illusions, amazing upside-down effects, as well as fun facts and local art from Bavaria.
What other highlight will there be at Magic Bavaria this year?
There will be various specials in our “Wiesn” room again for Oktoberfest - for example, you can challenge yourself in a beer mug challenge, write personal messages on our large gingerbread heart and send a photo of it to your loved one.... The giant pretzel swing is also very popular!
What makes Magic Bavaria different from other adventure museums?
Our creative installations about Bavaria inspire you to join in and provide the perfect backdrop for social media or unique vacation photos.... There is also local art from Bavaria and exciting fun facts (e.g. Who invented the pretzel?).
How much time should I allow for a visit?
We recommend 1 to 1.5 hours.
Does each of the photo spots have a special meaning or inspiration on which they are based?
All rooms are inspired by Bavaria's highlights, which visitors to Magic Bavaria can experience in an amazingly different way! In the King's Hall, for example, you can walk upside down on the ceiling or take a cool plunge into Munich's largest Eibsee ball pool with a “Bavarian Caribbean feeling” - a new surprise awaits in every room!
What else should you have seen in Munich apart from Magic Bavaria?
The Olympiapark, which is only 2 subway stops away from Magic Bavaria, is very beautiful. There is always something going on there and from the mountain you have a great view over the city to the mountains.
Typical of Munich?
Laptop and lederhosen - nowhere else do tradition and modernity go together like this.
