Since its opening on September 9th, 1999, the Airbräu has become a popular meeting place at the airport. Not only for visitors from the surrounding area but also for passengers and airport staff.

Original Bavarian Delight

A rustic atmosphere, combined with the world's first airport brewery and a reasonably priced range of food and drinks invite you to linger. In addition to home-brewed beer, the menu also includes traditional dishes such as old Bavarian roast pork shoulder, pork knuckle, and meatloaf.

The restaurant has 400 seats and offers authentic Bavarian pub culture. Visitors can enjoy traditional delicacies prepared with regional and seasonal ingredients, which guarantees the freshness and quality of the food. In addition to the restaurant, there is also the Airbräu Tenne, an event location for up to 250 people, where regular events with bands, comedians, and other artists take place. The culinary offer adapts to the respective occasion, from currywurst to fine dining.

Airbräu also has Europe's largest covered beer garden, with space for around 600 guests is connected to Airbräu Munich Airport. Even when it rains, you can enjoy the view over the Munich Airport Center with its modern architecture and watch the hustle and bustle at the airport.

The Airbräu's Zirbelstube, which dates back to 1897 and was originally located in the Alps, offers a historic ambiance for up to 35 people. This room is ideal for smaller, cozy celebrations. The Ballonstube, on the other hand, decorated with a large hot-air balloon, offers space for up to 15 people and is particularly popular for stag and hen parties.

The Airbräu at Munich Airport manages to combine Bavarian hospitality and cultural diversity and offers its guests a unique experience, regardless of whether they are traveling from afar or from the surrounding area.
