We ask, our partners answer. Today with KUNSTLABOR 2! KUNSTLABOR 2 is Munich's largest cultural interim use project and the name is a continuation of the great success of its predecessor. Visitors are immersed in walk-in art spaces that have been transformed into extraordinary art worlds by over 100 artists. They encounter both local greats of contemporary art and internationally renowned artists and their works.

KUNSTLABOR 2 is one of the largest cultural interim use projects in Munich and has been transformed into a center for art and culture in recent years, offering a restaurant, a permanent exhibition, studios and numerous workshops as well as events.

What highlight can be seen at KUNSTLABOR 2 in 2024?

In addition to the changing exhibitions by various national and international artists, we will be able to offer some new room installations in 2024.

Where does the name KUNSTLABOR 2 come from?

KUNSTLABOR 2 is the continuation of a successful interim use project of the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) and is intended to provide space for artistic and cultural exchange and the creative process.

Is the exhibition also suitable for children?

Absolutely. The rooms are places of discovery for young and old. You can experience art - with all your senses. Children accompanied by an adult up to the age of 12 have free admission. From 12-18 years 8 EURO.

What kind of workshops does KUNSTLABOR 2 offer?

T-shirt design, tape art, character design & graffiti workshops are standard. However, we also regularly offer additional workshops with cooperation partners, such as yoga, herbal walks, ikebana and much more.
