THE NEW ART & CULTURE CENTER MUNICH

The team of the Museum of Urban and Contemporary Art (MUCA) created a new center for art and culture in Munich on 15,000 m² of indoor and outdoor space in the former health care building at Dachauer Strasse 90.

Walk-in art spaces and worlds

KUNSTLABOR 2 is Munich's largest cultural temporary use project and the name follows the great success of its predecessor. Visitors are immersed in walk-in art spaces that have been transformed into extraordinary art worlds by over 100 artists. They will meet local greats of contemporary art as well as internationally renowned artists and their works.

Guided tours, workshops, concerts, and more

In addition to the permanent room installations and changing exhibitions, an extensive supporting program of guided tours, workshops, film days, concerts, readings, workshops, performances, and many other cultural highlights is offered. The park-like outdoor area of KUNSTLABOR 2 is also constantly transformed into a large art and urban garden. In addition, visitors can follow the ever-changing design process of the exterior façade. The in-house restaurant with its large outdoor terrace, like the entire KUNSTLABOR 2, invites you to linger with friends and family in an extraordinary ambiance.
