Scrambling in Germany's highest climbing forest

The climbing forest on the Blomberg is Germany's highest high ropes course. In the high season, it is open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm. The climbing forest at the summit of the Blomberg, right next to the Blommberghaus, at over 1200m above sea level, can be reached by chairlift and on foot or by bike. Getting there from the Blombergbahn parking lot: take the chairlift and a 15-minute walk or a 60-90 minute hike up from the valley station parking lot (approx. 500 meters altitude difference).

Our high ropes course is integrated into the natural mountain forest in a tree-friendly manner and is regularly inspected by TÜV. The modern “Lock D” safety system is part of our standard equipment. With this “communicating” safety system, it is not possible to unhook completely. Of course, every guest receives a detailed introduction to the system at the beginning.

Adventure climbing with different courses

There is something for everyone on our 10 adventure courses. Children from the age of 4, for example, can gain their first experience just above the ground on the “Sternchen-Parcours”, connoisseurs choose the middle “Panorama-Parcours” and can enjoy a magnificent view from the Irschenberg to the Großvenediger, while endurance, courage and strength are required on the “Blombergistan-Parcours” or the “Bauminator”, the most difficult of the 10 routes.

We also offer adventurous programs for teams and groups.

Suitable for: Anyone who feels physically fit and is at least 4 years old
