Public viewing in Munich for the European Football Championship 2024

The European Football Championship kicks off on June 14 with Germany as the host! Six games will be played in the Allianz Arena between now and July 14, including the opening game. If you don't have tickets for the games, you can still cheer along with others at the public viewing. In this article, you can find out which venues are prepared for public viewing.

EURO Fan Zone in the Olympic Park

In the Olympic Park, you will not only be able to watch the games on 3 large screens, but also experience a real soccer festival. One screen will be located at the Olympic Lake in front of the grass steps, the second at the Theatron and the third under the Magic Sky on Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz.

The stage program will provide a musical atmosphere with 30 bands, a comedy show is also planned, as well as a poetry and street dance competition, soccer workshops, an open-air cinema and much more! A visit is definitely worthwhile, whether with friends, children or family.

Augustiner Keller 

Munich's oldest beer garden has room for 5000 people to watch all the European Championship matches on free TV on 9 screens. You can also enjoy freshly tapped Augustiner beer on tap as well as delicacies from the Schmankerlgasse and the kitchen. There's also something for the little ones to do: the kids can have fun in the playground while the adults wait excitedly for the next goal.

Paulaner at Nockherberg

The beer garden at Paulaner am Nockherberg is not only a place to celebrate and watch soccer, but also the Olympic Games in Paris as well as dancing in traditional costume and jazz on Sundays.

All nations can feel at home here and experience their own personal summer fairytale. Of course, Paulaner beer is a must at this summer festival and delicious food is also provided!

The European Championship matches will be shown on two LED screens and some tables can be reserved in advance with food. However, most tables will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis without reservations. You can find more information about reservations and the match schedule here.

Seehaus in the English Garden

The Seehaus in the English Garden offers you an idyllic atmosphere right by the water. The open-air beer garden has a screen for free TV coverage of the European Championship matches. Reservations are not possible and they reserve the right to only show the games in dry weather. Beer is available from Paulaner. There is a fenced-in playground for children to play in.

Löwenbräukeller

The European Football Championship will also be shown live on the big screen in the Löwenbräukeller. Exclusive beer garden tables can be reserved for the best possible view. However, these are only available for 8 and 10 people, including 8 or 10 liters of Löwenbräu beer and a starter platter. The price is €184 and €230. The seats must be taken one hour before the start of the match.
