5 Questions to: Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB)

We ask, our partners answer. Today with our mobility partner Bayerische Regiobahn (BRB).

As the largest private mobility provider in Germany, Transdev brings around 160 million passengers to their destination every year.

Describe the BRB in one sentence.

We are and make mobile in the heart of Bavaria.

What highlight will there be at BRB in 2021?

We significantly expanded our frequency in the Oberland last summer and have brand new trains in operation there. Starting in December, we will expand our network in the direction of Berchtesgaden.

What special BRB story has never been told before, but should be heard?

In our blog on our website we always have stories that would be suitable for this, currently for example this. It's about the actress who voices our station announcements.

What else should you have experienced in Munich besides the trip with the BRB?

Viktualienmarkt and Maximilianstraße luxury mile
Valentin-Karlstadt-Musäum and German Museum
Nymphenburg Palace and Olympic Stadium
Glockenspiel at the Marienplatz and surfing at the Eisbach wave
English Garden and Munich Transportation Center (by train, of course)
Dumpling cooking class at Wirtshaus in the Au and Dinner in the Dark

Typically Munich is:

…the contrast:
FC Bayern and 1860 Munich
Laptop and lederhosen (opposing dirndl and digitalization)
Wiesn and security conference
Alpine panorama in the distance and beer garden idyll at every corner
Baby Schimmerlos and Karl Valentin

Italy's northernmost city has already been recommended as a top travel destination by the New York Times and is extremely popular not only with Asians on a European tour.

"Der Münchner" - an idyll to touch and it still exists, one way or another:
One sits comfortably in the beer garden under chestnut trees, a wheat beer in one hand, the leash of his dachshund in the other. On his head a traditional hat with a chamois beard. The other drives his noble car up and down Leopoldstrasse, impressing the rich, preferably ladies, who sit in the outdoor cafés dressed in Dior and Gucci. And "the Munich girl" ? From Empress Sissi to Sophie Scholl to Hannelore Elsner, plenty of female power - Zuagroaste or locals. There's even a special guided tour (also suitable for men).
