Lantenhammer fruit brandies, gin and rum

The Lantenhammer distillery in Hausham am Schliersee in Bavaria is one of the most modern distilleries in Europe. Here, visitors can experience at first hand how the best fruits are turned into fine spirits such as traditional fruit brandies, gin or rum. The experience tour through the distillery is multimedia-based, interactive and visitors can take as much time as they need thanks to the "self-guided tour" concept.

Distillery and world of experience

The world of experience is initially divided into three magical worlds: the store with a breathtakingly wide range of products, the cinema, where you can learn more about the tradition of the company, which has existed since 1928, in a film, and the treasure chamber, where you can marvel at the rarest distillates. Visitors then continue through the three areas of production, distillery and storage. The production of rum and gin, to which separate themed rooms are dedicated, is of particular importance. At the end of the experience tour, visitors can sample some of the Lantenhammer distillery's specialties if they wish.

The tour takes around 1 hour. Groups of eight people or more can also book an individual, personal tour, which takes around 1.5 hours.

Travel advice

Get off at the Agatharied stop, turn left into Fehnbachstraße, follow Miesbacher Straße to the right until the junction with Obere Tiefenbachstraße on the left, after 200 m turn right to Josef-Lantenhammer-Platz (approx. 800 m, 8 min).
