The Kunsthalle Munich

With around 350,000 visitors a year, the Kunsthalle München is one of the most renowned exhibition venues in Germany. With HAIR – POWER – DESIRE, the Kunsthalle München presents a thematically curated, cross-cultural exhibition that explores the multifaceted meanings of head and body hair. On view are over 200 historical and contemporary works from major international collections such as the Prado, the Louvre, and the Rijksmuseum. The paintings, sculptures, photographs, video works, jewelry, furniture, design objects, and couture creations unfold a multifaceted panorama of touching and surprising stories surrounding human hair.
