Wendelstein mountain railroad - View over the foothills of the Alps
Need a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city and want to enjoy nature to the full? Then we recommend a trip to the Wendelstein in Brannenburg! The BRB takes you from Munich to Brannenburg in just one hour (CTC fare zone M-12). Here you can walk, hike and climb the mountain. There are various hiking routes, but also a great cogwheel train and cable car to take you up the mountain. Once at the top, you will be amazed by the view. At 1,838 meters above sea level, you can see as far as the Central Alps and the Zugspitze on a clear day. The Wendelsteinhaus catering team will take care of your culinary indulgence. With this view, the food tastes even better! You can find more information about a trip from Munich to the Wendelstein here.
