TimeRide GO! Andechs Monastery Brewery - Virtual Reality

At TimeRide GO! in the Andechs monastery brewery, you can enjoy a unique, interactive experience combined with the rich history of one of Bavaria's most famous monasteries and its brewing tradition. Instead of just taking a classic guided tour, Timeride uses mobile VR glasses to show you what traditional brewing and everyday life in the monastery brewery used to look like. At individual stations, you can experience how raw materials were selected or how fermentation and storage worked—as if you were really in the past!

Partner tip from the editorial team

Hoftheater Munich – small and cozy

The Hoftheater in Munich is a small but special theater with its own unique atmosphere—and it's very different from the large municipal theaters. The Hoftheater is deliberately small and cozy, with fewer than 100 seats, which means that the audience and stage are very close together. This proximity creates a special atmosphere in which you can experience the performers up close and immerse yourself completely in the action.
Before the performance, you can chat with other guests and sometimes even with the ensemble in the TheaterBar, which opens an hour before the start – a cultural exchange that goes beyond just attending the theater!

Kunsthalle Munich - Digital by Nature

With around 350,000 visitors annually, the Kunsthalle München is one of the most visited exhibition venues in Germany. Located in the heart of the state capital Munich, the renowned Kunsthalle offers three major exhibitions per year on a wide variety of topics. Currently, Miguel Chevalier's art is on display in the exhibition “Digital by Nature” until March 1, 2026.
The exhibition brings together around 120 works from all phases of the artist's career, including several works created especially for the presentation at the Kunsthalle München. On display are sculptures and drawings created with the aid of 3D printing and robotics, as well as videos and installations. Definitely interesting for young and old alike!
